Day 4: Your Tumblr name, in great detail.
My Tumblr name is the same as my Twitter name, LadyStarbuck.
No, it's not after Starbucks, but it comes from the same place as their name. Starbuck is a character from the novel Moby Dick by Herman Melville. The book is one of my all-time favorites. I thought of the name one night while watching the X files. In the episode, Agent Scully is dealing with the loss of her father, and it is revealed that he use to call her "Starbuck." I thought it was cute, so I decided to use it as my user name for Twitter. I recently signed up for Tumblr and figured I could use the same name for it.
That's the fabulous story behind it.

The 30 Day Challenge: Day 3
Day 3: Your day, in detail.
Well, I haven't had much of a day so far, but I will try to describe the rest of it as I see it happening.
Starting at midnight past, I was playing Guitar Hero with my little sister. Around 2AM, I went to my room to lay down and catch up on some episodes of the Office, falling asleep around 330AM. I woke up this morning and had to find my shirt so I could leave the room. (I normally sleep topless) I fixed my hair somewhat, meaning I took my hands and tried to push down all the crazy bed head. I went into the kitchen and had breakfast with my dad, my sister, and my step-mother. I had some toast, scrapple and a beverage. While eating, we joked around and watched "That 70's show" off and on. I then had to print some papers to send in to the evil loan company in order to switch my payment plan, because I'm poor and can't pay the high payments every month. Then I started replying to some email I had, and updated my facebook status. Currently I'm typing this and helping my little sister with her Science homework, which is on the planets of the solar system. My dad just saw my blog title and declared, "Well, if you're Jenki, I'm Dad-ki!" Haha. I love my dad.
The rest of the day should be as follows: I will reply to some messages I have gotten and finish helping my little sister with homework, which includes some Social Studies. We may or may not go to Starbucks, but I will not get anything since I'm on a sugar-free diet. Then we shall play some Guitar Hero. I will leave my dads around 5pm and go home to great my mom. We will run to the store to buy some fun and yummy foods to eat while we watch the red carpet for the Oscars. We will pick apart every outfit and name our best and worst dressed for the night. (We do this for every red carpet, and have been doing it for years.) After which she will eventually go to bed and I will remain awake to watch the entire Oscars telecast. (As a filmmaker, I feel I have to.) If Natalie Portman wins like I want her to, I will be happy. I'll be updating my Twitter during this entire event so everyone can share in my meanness. After this, I will go to sleep for a few hours, remembering that tomorrow morning I have to drive into DC to pick up a friend from the bus station.
I hope this was a grand read.

The 30 Day Challenge: Day 1
Day 1: Write some basic things about yourself.
Alrighty.
I was born on in December, on a Friday the 13th.
My favorite colors are red and purple, but I wear mostly blue because it looks the best on me.
I can not use public restrooms unless it is a life or death situation.
I love to scrapbook.
I have the tons of clutter in my room, but I hate germs and nasty things. If I see something with mold or bugs or stains... I can't do it.
I've been living the the same house for 13 years with a boy that pees and poos all over the toilet seat and toilet paper roll, despite my attempts to correct him. Because of this, I sanitize the bathroom every time I have to go.
My favorite outfit to wear is a T-shirt, black pants, and flip-flops.
I wear chap stick every day, but not make up. I wear make up if I'm going out somewhere, and that only consists of mascara and lip gloss.
I bite my nails sometimes.
My favorite super hero is Batman.
I'm currently re-reading "The Catcher in the Rye"
I put applesauce on my pizza.
If you ask me for a favor, you got it. If you demand I do something, you're SOL.
I have two best friends. One is a slutty-lush, the other is a childlike-feminist. I wouldn't have them any other way.
I have a cat named Trevor, but I've had MANY other animals before him.
I am one of those girls that has her wedding planned already, but I'm still flexible.
I always paint my toe nails different colors because it's more fun that way.

The 30 Day Challenge

I found this online, and I decided to go ahead and do it. Every day, for the next 30 days, I shall do whatever the day specifies. Don't worry, I will retype it everyday just so everyone can read it.

New things to do
I've recently decided to find new hobbies to do in order to fill my boring days. Sometimes, I have nothing to do and no where to go. This happens often. I want some activities to fill those hours. I thought of two things.
#1 Make my own jewelry
I really am the most picky person when it comes to stuff like jewelry and accessories. I love charm key chains and necklaces, but if there is one thing about it I don't like, then I don't get it. I'm like that with clothes too. So, I'm just going to make my own stuff. It's cheaper and I can make the styles I want, depending on my fashions that day.
#2 Make up
I really want to learn how to do gorgeous make up like the picture above. I have tons of make up, but I never really wear it. I'm a simple kind of girl with that stuff. But I love art, so I figured I would love to try and do this. I'm starting to look up all kinds of designs and techniques. Hopefully I'll get good at it, then I can capitalize on it.

I have the hiccups.
I'm suppose to be getting dressed, but instead I'm sitting on my bed trying to rid my body of the hiccups. I always get scared, just a little bit, when I get the hiccups. This is for multiple reasons.
1. The episode of Grey's Anatomy when Lexi's mom died from the hiccups. I'm not exactly sure what happened. She went in with the hiccups and then slowly broke from the inside and died, and then Meredith got slapped... it was a mess. But, when I get the hiccups I always thing.... "...shit!"
2. I get them all the time. At least once a day. Well... not THAT much, but it's a lot.
3. It makes a weird sound in my ears. Like, it blocks the sound out. I don't enjoy it.
Anyway, I have to get dressed now. Here is the real reason for this post:

Fashion Sketch Book

Here are some sketch book images of woman. These are really amazing sketches, that have a watercolor touch to them. The remind me of the kind of woman I want to be, not only in the clothing they wear, but in the attitude they project. The artist that makes these does amazing work, and it's a new goal of mine to purchase one of these works.

Can't believe!

I can't believe it's been a whole year since my Gizmo was put down. He may have beat cancer once, but he just couldn't do it twice. He was the best dog ever and I miss him so much! Love my baby. I'm just taking this moment to remember him.
